Jackson F. Kimball State Recreation Site
Located at the headwaters of the Wood River, it’s a great place to hike, picnic, spot local wildlife, kayak, and fish.
Klamath Fish Hatchery
Rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat trout — producing approximately 3 million fish each year, this hatchery releases trout throughout the Klamath Basin, Deschutes Basin, Umpqua Basin, and southeast Oregon. Bring binoculars for spotting birds and a picnic for after your visit when the weather’s fair.
Train Mountain Railroad Museum
The Train Mountain Railroad isn’t only for enthusiasts, it’s also for people looking for something unique to write home about. The longest miniature railroad in the world, at 36 miles of track, you can ride through 2,200 acres of conifer-filled forest.
DMOLO Golf
Take the family for nine holes or hit the driving range solo. Either way, the honor pay system creates one more fantastic story to take home with you. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring your clubs, as they have some to borrow.
